Hello Citizens of La Porte

My name is Henry Newsom; I am a 38 year old husband and father of two.  I am reaching out to you for your support in the upcoming election of our city’s next mayor. 

I have been into politics for as long as I can remember, and have now decided to stop talking about the changes we need and to now try and do something about them.  I have only lived in La Porte for a few years but I grew up just around the corner in Pasadena. I have loved every second of living here and this is the city where I will raise my family.

I don’t have many complaints about our city, but I do see some changes for the better for all citizens involved.  First and foremost, I would want to set guidelines and parameters for all registered sex offenders in our city to make it safer for our children.  Second to find an actual property tax decrease without raising your property value. I will dedicate myself to retaining the high quality of living that we are accustomed to through these difficult economic times.
